Lebara Mobile Sim Card - 10pence to text all over the world

Hi Friend

Welcome to my blog!

I will like to share with you this wonderful information about Lebara Mobile.

I am not an employee of Lebara and I am not receiving any commission for writing this.

If you have a pay as you go mobile phone in the UK and you call or send texts to countries like USA, South Africa, Nigeria, then 10 pence per text is a great saving for you.

I use Vodafone in the UK and they charge me 25 pence for sending a text to Nigeria.

Imagine, how excited I was when a friend told me about Lebara Mobile Sim Card.

Since, it has been officially declared that, we are in Recession, we need to save money and budget accordingly.

Go to their website at http://www.lebara-mobile.co.uk/

Also, if you top up £20 you will receive extra £10. Isn't that great?

Tell your friends and families.

If you have been blessed by this information, please post your comments.

Thank you.

I pray that, Jehovah God will bless you, your home and your work. Amen.

Success University News - Nigeria Pre-Launch (Lagos, Abuja)

Success University News - Nigeria Pre-Launch‏

This is an email I received from Matt Morris just recently. If you are looking for someone to help guide you in your business, you should read this 3 step money making guide with Success University.

Attention All Success University Affiliates,

I’m excited to announce yet ANOTHER new announcement for 2009.
As you may know, Nigeria is, by far, the most populated country in Africa with an estimated 140,000,000 people…

A handful of our leaders have quietly been building in the country and have enrolled almost 1,000 students. Considering the fact that over 90% of the population does not have a credit card, this is an amazing accomplishment.

Because of the tremendous growth that we’ve seen, we’ve made a significant investment to implement a non credit card enrolment option allowing virtually anyone in Nigeria to enrol.
Because this payment platform is now active, I’m excited to announce that…

Nigeria is Now Officially in Pre-Launch!

Because of the significant growth that has taken place, we know that this market will absolutely explode with activity over the next few months now that our payment platform is in place.
You’ll want to ensure that everyone in your team has read this email and understands the process to enrol students and affiliates in Nigeria.

When you send someone from Nigeria to your website to enrol, they will see complete instructions on the enrolment page, but I’ll copy those instructions here as well so it is completely clear. The payment platform we’ve integrated with is called Virtual Terminal Network (VTN).

In order to process an enrolment, you will need to first register for a VTN account, add funds and then complete your enrolment online.

It’s a simple 3 step process:

1. Register for a VTN account at: http://www.virtualterminalnetwork.com/cardholder/NewRegistration.asp

2. Add funds by depositing the funds at a designated bank near you. Amount to be deposited: Premium Product Package $149.95 + S&H $20.94 = USD $170.89 (We recommend depositing enough for your next 3 month’s tuition to avoid having to go to the bank each month which would equal USD $344.75)

3. Continue with the enrollment online.

I’ve talked to so many leaders over the last few months that have been waiting to travel to Nigeria to kick off their teams, so I look forward to hearing your success stories soon!
We’ll be making even more announcements over the coming weeks as we continue our mission of transforming lives through education.

Thank you for being part of our family!

How To Find Property Hotspots in Nigeria

Hi Friend,

Welcome to my blog! I am glad to have you.

How do you find property hotspots in Nigeria?

Well, it depends on what you want from the property.

Is it for property renovation, letting to students, middle class renting, land speculating or commercial?

In Lagos, Lekki area is an hotspot. This means, you can buy a property in 2009 for 20Million Naira in a year's time, it will definitely double to around 40 Million.

There are various testimonials from people to confirm this.

But, if you cannot afford 20 Million naira, look for areas where the state or federal government are proposing to do a big project.

In Abuja, Jabi, Utako and satellite towns are good hotspots.

Thank You!

How to Pick Stocks in Nigeria

Hi

Welcome to my blog! Great to have you here.

A friend introduced me to stocks in Nigeria. He told me about the Intercontinental Bank Initial public Offer which was taking place. I trusted my friend, so I bought.

I bought some stocks and started doing some research on stocks. I bought the following books and read it.

Come into my trading room. by Dr Alexander Elder.
The Buffett Way
Up My Street by Peter Lynch.

I realised that, I preferred the long term stock trading strategy. Which states that, buy in the bear market (when no one is buying) and sell in the bulls market (when everyone is buying).

After studying the Nigerian Stock Exchange for a while, I will recommend the banking industry stocks in Nigeria.

For instance, I will buy the following stocks.

First Bank
Intercontinental Bank
Skye Bank
Bank PHB
Oceanic Bank
Zenith Bank
Union Bank
Guaranty Trust Bank
UBA

The reasons are because, they are fundamentally sound and they are highly capitalised. They are not going to bankrupt in a while and my money is safe. Also, some of the banks offer bonuses like 4 shares and get 1 free. They pay good dividends which can be used to pay school fees, if you are in Nigeria. Education is free here in the UK.

I will also buy stocks of these other companies:

Dangote Sugar Refinery
WAPCO
UnionHomes
Oando
Cadbury
Nestle

The reasons are, DSR is a monopoly and we need sugar. Nigerians build a lot of home so that is the reason for WAPCO and they have been around for so long.

UnionHomes - because there is shortage of homes in Nigeria. So there is a demand.

Oando - I like their petrol and diesel. The amount of generators used in Nigeria. There is a market there.

Cadbury & Nestle - mainly because food is one of the main necessities of life.

Thank You!

  • One large or two medium chopped onions
  • Salt or knorr (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Chile pepper, chopped, to taste
  • Cayenne pepper or red pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil to grease muffin tin

OTHER INGREDIENTS YOU CAN PUT IN IT - Select the ones you like

  • Cooked shrimp, chopped
  • Cooked carrots, finely chopped
  • Cooked peas
  • Sweet green or red pepper (bell pepper)
  • One Hard-boiled egg
  • Dried, salted, or smoked fish; washed, cleaned and torn into small pieces
  • Dried shrimp or prawns, washed and crushed
  • Canned sardines
  • Leftover cooked meat, cut into small pieces
  • Dried or smoked meat, torn into small pieces
  • Canned corned beef

HOW TO COOK IT

Clean the black-eyed peas in water in a large pot.

Cover them with boiling water and soak them for at least an hour or overnight.

After soaking them, rub them together between your hands to remove the skins.

Rinse to wash away the skins and any other debris. Drain them in a colander.

If the beans have soaked only a short time, they may be cooked in water over a low heat until they are partially tender.

Crush, grind, or mash the black-eyed peas into a thick paste.

Slowly add enough water to form a smooth, thick paste.

Beat with a wire whisk or wooden spoon for a few minutes.

A tablespoon of oil may be added.

In a separate container combine all other ingredients and crush and stir them together until they are thoroughly mixed.

Add the other ingredients to the black-eyed pea paste and stir to make a smooth mixture.

Grease the muffin pans (or tin cans).

Scoop the Moi-Moi mixture into your pans (or cans), allowing some room for it to rise while cooking.

Place the pans (or cans) in a baking dish partially filled with water.

Bake in a medium-hot oven for about a half-hour.

Moi-Moi in tin cans can also be steamed in a large covered pot on a stove.

Check for doneness with a toothpick or sharp knife, as one would for a cake.

ANOTHER METHOD OF COOKING MOIN-MOIN

Wrap the Moin-Moin mixture in banana leaves or aluminum foil to make small packets.

Cook the packets by steaming them in a large pot, using a rack to keep them out of the water.

You can serve hot or at room temperature.

FREE Summer Activities to Do With the Children

  • Family Games

On a nice sunny day, go to your local park with the kids and have different games such as 3-legged races, potato sack races, small ball on a spoon races, relay races, obstacle courses, or better still make up some games with the children. Also, this is great exercise for everyone and loads of fun.
  • Go to the Local Library
You will find out that, children love to read in the library. Also, reading books is much better for your children than television. I try to go to the library with my children on Thursdays every week. They get the opportunity to read different books, borrow books, videos and use the internet. Library Membership is free for everyone.
  • Watching the Clouds
Late at night, in your garden or your local park, spread out a blanket, have some popcorn or other snack and a cold drink and lay on the blanket with everyone’s head touching each other on the floor. Try and form different shapes with your bodies and watch the clouds. Ask the children to name what shape or animal they can see in the clouds. Or count the stars.

  • Have a Yard Sale with Drink Stand

I am sure that, you will like to get rid of those unwanted, un-needed and unnecessary items that you have in your garage or loft.

You can make money with those things, and don't you just love making money? Also, children love making money, so allow them to set up a drink stand.

Tell them that, from the sale they make, they can tithe on 10%, Invest 50% and spend 40% on whatever they want. They can put the money to be invested in their piggy bank and save for that special toy they want to buy.

This will teach your children marketing, money management, and responsibility. Allow your children to make their own drink, their own stand, set their own price and to run their entire drink sale on their own.
  • Water Fight

You can start your day by going to different place and then end the day with a water fight. You can use water guns, water balloons, squirt guns, cups of water or anything you can get your hands on. Attack each other with the water guns.

Other Games

o Jumping on the trampoline with the children.
o Riding bikes,
o Playing Tag
o playing catch
o Throwing Frisbee or flying disc
o Walking together around the neighbourhood.

  • Swimming

Most children love to swim, and the most important benefit is that swimming is fantastic exercise! Some parents may be shocked to learn that children as young as 10 months old can learn to swim. All you have to do if you have a toddler is to buy a water proof diaper from http://www.swimpoolstore.com/.

You can visit your local swimming pool or a lake and swim. Teach your children as young as possible to swim, to dive, and to not be afraid of the water. There are several stages to learn when it comes to swimming from getting in the water period, to swimming underwater, to treading water and swimming in deep water and the sooner your child learns the easier, the experience will be for them. Some educational experiences can be fun and this is certainly one of them.

Fee will be for the entrance.

Ask at your leisure centre/swimming pool for the reduced price day for swimming. Normally called “Swim for 50pence” or something like that. If you don’t ask, you don’t know.

  • Hiking and Camping

The great outdoors always offers unlimited entertainment, for everybody. It may sound like a nightmare to go walking through the woods with children, but once you get those children outside where they are actually able to exert their energy in a healthy way... you'll be quite impressed at how much fun your whole family is having. Read more about Hiking & Camping with Children for some tips.

FOR OTHER ACTIVITIES – INVOLVING MONEY

  • Aquariums

Children love to go to aquariums. You can watch out for coupons in the newspapers or in retail shops that, offer KIDS GO FREE TO ATTRACTIONS. All you have to do is pay for the adult and the child goes free. If you are in the United Kingdom, it is always in the local paper in the month of May. Cut the coupons out and save a lot of money on entrance tickets.

Take your digital camera and take lots of pictures of the different fishes. It is an educative trip for the children and you. Save some more money by making your sandwich and drinks from home and taking them with you.

Amusement Parks and Zoos

Amusement parks and Zoos can be very expensive. But, you can save money on the FREE KID ENTRANCE TICKET. Remember that, your children are only children for a short period of time, and it is good to take advantage of these experiences.

Even if you are on a budget, you can still save some money for months just to be able to spend one day at an amusement park with the family and they children will thank you for it.

Consider that day you're family vacation. Make a big deal of it, look forward to it and enjoy yourselves while you're there.

  • Fishing

If you decide to swim in a lake with the children. Then you can throw some poles out there as well and teach your children how to fish. Fishing fis a lot of fun, and it is great fun for the whole family. Try and read up on safety tips for teaching children to fish.

In conclusion,

You don’t have to spend thousands of money to have fun with the children. It can be free and fun. You can then repeat this every year with the children. And your children can do this with their own children as well.

4 Reasons Why Children Should Take Swimming Lessons

Our main reasons for enrolling our children for swimming lessons are:

1. Safety -

This is the principal reason for taking our children swimming. While they are swimming, the children are taught about water safety on the first lesson. They also learn that, it is not safe for them to go into the pool if an adult is not present. In addition, they learn what to do if someone is downing and they should not run around the pool area in case they fall into the pool.

2. Fun -

So that, they can have fun while we go on holiday and they can go swimming with their friends. Children love the water, the splashing, the kicking and everything about it.

3. Promotes Confidence -

The look on a child's face when they learn a swimming skill is priceless. Our daughter can swim with her friends now.

4. Qualified Teachers -

The swimming teachers are qualified and they are able to teach our children more.
Definitely, swimming lessons helped boost confidence around our house we are so proud of our children. In conclusion, look in the Yellow Pages for qualified swimming teachers who have the swimming certificate. Better still, speak to other parents in your children’s school for the names and telephone nos of their leisure center.
