It is much better than the thousands of pounds I paid for my MBA at University of East London. What a waste of money! I could have saved my money and invested it in land in Lagos Island. Lol!

Buy children textbooks at CMS and not at school

In the UK or USA, you don’t have to buy textbooks for your children’s school. But, in Nigeria, you will have to pay extra money or naira for their school textbooks.

Remember, the good old days, when your parents asked you to go and buy your school textbooks. It is still happening.

I was surprised to find that, after paying lots of naira for our children’s private school, we still have to buy textbooks.

Anyway, this is about saving you money. So, don’t buy from your children’s school unless you have money to waste. They make over 100% to 200% profit from the school textbooks.

You will save money by buying at CMS (Kakawa Street). I buy from Hope Lawal BookStand (not a bookshop o!). sometimes, I go to Ojuelegba and buy from Abikoye Bookshop.

If you have more than 2 children, you will be saving a lot of money.

You may think it is common sense but, Nigerians in Nigeria are NOT the same as Nigerians in Diaspora.

They will copy your business ideas and present it as their own.

When applying to a company for a contract and it involves you providing a service, give them a TIP OF THE ICEBERG. I mean, just a taster. As a matter of fact, a taster is even too much for my people in Nigeria. Just give the name of the service without explaining. Nigerians don’t want to pay.

By getting a Generator engine oil and not Motor engine oil like Mobil's. The Generator engine oils are very scarce and have a diagram of generator on it.
