If you have a personal or corporate bank account in lagos Nigeria, it is advisable that, in order to combat fraud, you should specify that, your bank call you to authorise all cheques.

Remember, this is Nigeria and it is not UK or the US.

Go into the branch and speak to your Relationship Manager and put this request in writing.

Make sure he or she does this in front of you.

In order to make sure, write a cheque to your relative and check to see that, they will call you.
